This homemade costume for families entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Rayanne, the 'Toy Soldiers' costume creator:
Mom, Dad and 2 kids thought "you have a friend in me" would be the perfect theme for Halloween this year! Idea came from internet group photo ideas, but finalized by the 8 year old in the family who wanted to be a soldier! We scoured value village for appropriate pieces for our ensembles, visited an army surplus store, used 2 gallons of high gloss paint, 10 pairs of rubber gloves, numerous paint brushes, plastic, spray paint and a substantial amount of Netflix. lol
