This homemade costume for families entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Miliangelie, the 'Victorian Era Steampunk' costume creator:
This year me and my husband decided to go with a steampunk theme costume. That's our 2 year old daughter Nyxis! I entirely handmade my husband and daughter hats, out of foam, contact cement, paint, rub and buff and epoxy. I also made the jet pack on his back as well as the weapon on my back. Also hand paint the all the weapons. I made his wrist piece out of thick fabric and golden silver buttons. I hand sow the fabric to the back of my black shorts. and this is our Victorian Era Steampunk costumes,.. which I had a fun time making.
