Big Winged Butterfly Costume

Crimson Frye is wearing the costume created by her mother, Deanna Frye. The butterfly wings were made by cutting two identical wings from heavy posterboard, then painted black. Iridescent fabric was added in between so it could be seen in the cutouts. Wire was added for support. Crimson all black and the wings were secured with Velcro around her waist and arms. The mask was made from a ready made mask, put painted. Antenna was made by adding styrofoam balls onto wire secured to a headband.
