Bubble Guppies Deema and Oona Costume

My idea came from my daughter's favorite cartoon The Bubble Guppies. Out of all three female characters from the show, my 4 yr old daughter picked the one with the craziest hair style "Deema". I chose Oona character for my 1 yr old. Oona costume was pretty easy. I had to figure out how to make Deema's hair because there isn't a wig out there that comes close to her hair shape. I went to craft stores and I could not find big enough orange pom poms. So then I went online and I found giant orange craft pom poms. Very cheap too, 25 in a package for $1.99. I bought a child foam crown from the dollar store for the base of the wig. I first adjusted the crown to my daughters head and glued at the ends. Then I cut another a oval shape out of a foam sheet and glued it flat over the tips of the crown. Now I could start gluing on the pom poms and make the shape of the character's hair. I ordered custom made dresses from a lady who makes them because I am not good with sewing stuff. Both costumes turned out really good. They were very popular amongst the other trick or treaters.
