Jellyfish Girl's Halloween Costume

My daughter Myia is wearing the costume. This was really fun.

Materials:hat umbrella from amazon (one without handle), knee pads (w/Velcro-from dollar store), loofah sponges (2 long ones with blue & white-dollar tree), string blue mini lights from Amazon,mini blue lights(Amazon), white laundry bag, plastic bags, glue sticks, bubble wrap, and hand buzzers.

I used a blue cloth like umbrella because I wanted to glue light pack and stuff without umbrella melting. I first glued on balled up plastic bags and then put string lights around that. From there I cut strips of bubble wrap and glued various sizes to end of umbrella. I added the individual blue mini led lights to top of umbrella. I then placed bubble wrap on top of bags to form top layer. Next, I cut open laundry bag on one side and placed on top of bubble wrap on top of umbrella, this I glued to edge of umbrella. I measured from her shoulder to fingers and cut bubble wrap to go on her arm. At the top I attached knee pads that had Velcro to attach to her shoulder. At the end of the bubble wrap I attached hand buzzers that slipped on her finger and she was able to zap people (like a jelly fish). She received lots of praise. And with the lights it was very cool.
