This homemade costume for girls entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.

Little Beautician
Alyvia LOVES her guinea pig sweetie. They pretty much do everything together, just like best friends do, which is what inspired me to design this costume for them! What is more precious then a little girl pretending to be a grown up!?
How To:
For Alyvia, the beautician, I bought a pink craft smock/apron and some pink sequenced ribbon and hot glued the ribbon to the smock/apron. Then, I went to a local dollar store and bought the hair dryer, brush (etc) accessory kit (I added some of the pieces in her pocket and let her hold a few). For Sweetie, the friend getting her "hair done", I used a toy roller (which came with the kit I bought) for her hair and a small pink "rag" for the hair catcher.
Everyone thought they were the cutest!
