This homemade costume for girls entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jennifer, the 'Maleficent' costume creator:
Our daughter Evie is wearing this entirely handmade costume. The wings are made from foam and cardboard feathers, as well as some costume feathers near the inner top of each wing. The head-piece was made from an old baseball cap and costume horns and fabric wrap, and the rest was pieced together or sewn. The wings were attached with a backpack harness system. The wingspan was over 10 feet from end to end. Staff was made from PVC and dueled as her candy bucket.
