This homemade costume for girls entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Elaina, the 'Mary Poppins' costume creator:
My daughter Annika is 5 years old and LOVES Mary Poppins so it was only fitting that she be Mary Poppins for Halloween. We hit up a thrift store and found everything to put this costume together. All I did was add the flowers to the hat and make the parrot for the umbrella. For the parrot I used tin foil, part of an egg carton, construction paper, tape, and paint. Then voila we had our very own Mary Poppins and she was practically perfect in every way!
