This homemade costume for girls entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Laurie, the 'Peacock' costume creator:
My Daughter is wearing this super fancy peacock costume. Started with a basic leo, them made a skirt out of tulle and elastic. Made sure to leave extra long pieces in the back. Then using left over elastic I added my peacock feathers and several snaps along the waist of both the skirt and feather belt. Hot glued feathers to the elastic. Made the arm bands from left over elastic strips and feathers. Left over feathers went on to the face mask. Added orange tights for the legs.
