Snow Owl Costume

This is my 3 year old, Madelyn. We saw a lot of owl costumes on Pinterest so we worked off that. We looked at fabric but we wanted something soft and feather like. We found some but it came at a high price because it sheds BAD. A lot of pattern drawing of feathers and cutting was done by Madelyn's aunt. Then a lot of hot glueing was done. Then we had to use the shop vac and blow off the feathers extra fuzzy stuff. We then added some hair spray to the fabric. It turned out pretty cute. She won her age division contest at a local event.
