Snow Queen Costume

In the era of "Frozen" my daughter, Samantha, wanted to be a snow queen, but not the "Elsa" kind. That meant we could be a little more imaginative! Luckily for me, she has a head of white-blonde hair, so that was a great jumping off point.

I found a simple white dress at the thrift store, and added on from there. I added crushed velvet, lace, and a sparkly snowflake printed sheer fabric to make this royal dress. I made an "ice" crown and necklace out of hot glue. Her fur stole was a fur jacket that I found at the thrift store. It was sooo soft. Her make-up included lots of white and glitter to add to the frozen illusion.
