Voo Doo Doll Costume

My daughter wanted to be something a little more scary this year. After some brainstorming, we decided to make her a voo doo doll. We started with a random scrap of fabric, and since I do not know how to sew with a sewing machine, we literally wrapped the fabric around her body and started pinning and cutting!
The heart was made from red felt, and the only other fabrics we used were burlap and a random brown scrap fabric from the fabric store.
Her pins were made from coat hangers and felt balls that we also found at the fabric store.
We ordered a nude bodysuit online, and I added the stitching around the neck, arms and legs.
To complete her look, we added raffia to her hair, smaller pins to go with it, and a doll type make up look!
Voila! My little voo doo doll!
