Peanuts Gang Costume

My best friend's daughter is usually the one with the ideas. In this photo she was 7 years old and she decided that we needed to dress as the peanuts gang. Sweet Olivia is Lucy, DeWayne (me) is Linus, Carol Jo is Woodstock, Gwen is Snoopy, and Reggie is Charlie Brown. All of the costumes are store bought except for Linus. To make his costume I took an oversized red shirt, a fabric marker and a straight piece of cardboard. I laid the shirt on a flat surface and drew the lines across making sure I marked on the edge of the shirt so the lines would line up when I drew them on the opposite side. I wore black dockers that were a little too short in the length. The costumes were a hit!
