This homemade costume for kids entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amanda, the 'CaveMan and CaveBaby' costume creator:
In the photo is my 8 year old son Ashton and 3 month old daughter Talia! This is her first halloween so we wanted to do it together with them matching :) the concept is CaveMan and his CaveBaby sister! We were just shopping around at hobby lobby and came across a roll of the cheetah print fabric and instantly got the idea! It was so easy and cheap to make :)
The cheetah fabric was 2.00 a yard
Pack of bones for 1.00
Roll of tulle for her tutu 2.00
Muscle suit we found on clearance for 5.00
I handmade the tutu, headband and bone necklace etc. I just simply used hand sewing.
Very easy costumes and ended up being SO cute :)
