This homemade costume for kids entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Christina, the 'Dia de los Muertos' costume creator:
Bella and Cruz Angelo are dressed as "sugar skulls", a typical candy used in Day of the Dead celebrations in Mexico. The idea came from my love of sugar skulls.
We purchased the costume my son is wearing and a friend helped make my daughter's dress and headpiece.
The makeup is my first try.. -_-
