This homemade costume for kids entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.

My son is wearing Super Gogeta from Dragonball Z. I have three boys who are huge fans of the cartoon- actually we all are. I have been making DBZ costumes for my boys for 12 years now. This costume consists of GI pants that run about $10 or so online, some rain boots that I painted black and the rest is a couple yards of material and lots of hot glue ( not much of a sewer) His hair is sculpted with glue and white toothpaste. Next,I used white hair paint, two different gold hair paints and finally gold sparkle paint to give it shine. The hair takes about 1 and 1/2 hours. Lots of time but so worth it! I bought little finger lights from the dollar store to get his hands to glow.
