Joker and Harley Quinn Costume

My son Rashad and his sister Kaylianna are wearing the costumes. My son a huge batman fan came up with the idea. I didn't like any of the store bought costumes so I went to a thrift store and picked up a suit jacket and vest and a girls purple pair of pants. We spray painted the jacket and vest. Using a primer for the base coat. Then a solid purple color and finally a metallic top coat for the purple jacket. For the vest we used a primer again. then a solid green color and lastly added glitter to make it kinda POP. I then used a gloss finish to keep everything set. For the Harley Quinn costume i actually just used an old queen of hearts costume dress and added felt diamonds to it to make it look more Harley Quinn like. and then face paint and a Jester hat completed that costume. They deffinatly got lots of compliments on their costumes this year. My son said "mom i feel famous everyone is talking about the joker tonight" hoping he can win and we really make the kid famous!!!
