This homemade costume for kids entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from David, the 'Minions' costume creator:
My kids (8 & 6) wanted to be minions for Halloween. The structure of the costume is a trash can that I cut the arms and eyes out off. I than wrapped the trash can in a sleeping mat to give it some extra dimension. I used yellow and purple felt. The hardest part was wrapping the felt around the top of the trash can. It took a lot of spray adhesive and hot glue. I also added some padding inside the head to make it more comfortable to wear.
