A word from Michele, the 'Rock'em Sock'em Robots' costume creator:
Rocco and Ryan are wearing these costumes for a school parade. The are a game from the 70's Rock'em Sock'em Robots. The costumes were made by their dads using all cardboard sheets. They used bolts to actually attach the arms to the chest. The cardboard was spray painted using 2 cans each. The boys will be wearing the same color sweat pants and shirt. When putting the legs/arms together they used the these round metal fastners from office depot to help them hinge. The detail rounded pieces are kids poppers from a party store glued on and painted. Supplies are cardboard, fastners, poppers, some bolts, hot glue, duct tape(used to secure cardboard, spray paint, sweat pants and shirt for each boy. Total cost was $86 in total.
