Splash Splash Costume

We love Halloween and wearing DIY costumes. This year we went we a classic bubble bath costume. This project wasn't expensive because I'm a crafter and most of the items we already had. Materials used memory foam, fiber fill,cloth, spray paint,wire, yarn, headband and a duck. So first we made a bathtub template on cardboard traced it on the memory foam ,cut it and covered it with cloth. Then we cut the legs and faucet spay painted them gold and put wire through the faucet to curb it. We made several crocheted balls and glued them on tub and filled gaps with fiber fill. We crocheted nude suspenders to hold the tub on . We added crocheted bubbles and fiber fill to the headband and there u have it . To complete the costume we decided to add a shower curtain and loofah. My grandbaby us wearing the tub and my daughter is wearing the curtain. This project took us 1 full day to make.
