Mass Effect Commander Shepard Costume

I greatly enjoyed the video game series Mass Effect and felt that it would be great to have a set of armor from the game. So I went online and found some tutorials and YouTube videos about making some. After this, I started with EVA foam floor mats and paper templates. This allowed me to scale the pieces to fit me. I transferred the templates to the foam, cut the pieces, and heated certain parts in order to make them curve. I hot glued it all together, then coated it with a flexible spray (Plasti-Dip)and school glue. Then I started with a base coat of matte black paint. Then a few coats of gloss black. Then I dry brushed some silver to highlight edges and sealed all of that with a gloss clear coat. Then I installed EL Wire into the back for the glowing weapon slots and shield generators. For some color, I did paint certain parts metallic silver instead of the gloss black.
