Groot Costume

My husband is wearing the costume. We got the idea after watching Guardians of the Galaxy. The next day we waltzed into a pawn shop and picked up a dremmel. The costume is hot glued to pants and a shirt, that I sewed a zipper into. The mask and bark pieces are made up of EVA foam and pipe insulation, I dremmeled the whole costume for a bark like texture. Ropes make up the vines and I ended using hairspray to seal the foam so I could paint it. This costume was a lot of trail and error, considering I had never made anything like this in my life. It took us redoing the costume 3 times just to get it right. Enjoy, I AM GROOT!
