This homemade costume for men entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tim, the 'Inspector Gadget' costume creator:
My Inspector Gadget costume was thought of through the idea of a spinning hat. A windchime spinner motor was what spun the helicopter hat. I purchased the hat and trench coat at The Goodwill. The hat was constructed by PCP pipe, a plastic bowl, cardboard, washers, foam, wire, tubing and spray paint.
I took about 12 - 15 hours to make. It cost about $60.00 to create.
