This homemade costume for men entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Michael, the 'Iron Man' costume creator:
I wearing the costume that took me a few months to build. The coustume is made out of both fiberglass and Eva foam. It's has working flaps on the back of the suit that open up and shoots out CO2 giving it a look of a jet pack like in the movie. The helmet also opens and shuts using a servo along with a micro controller that measures force that allows me to tilt my head up and it opens them tilt my head down and it closes and the helmet had programmed sounds of it opening and shutting. I also wired up the suit with a bunch of high intense LEDs so that it stood out in the crowd.
