This homemade costume for men entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kevin, the 'Optimus Prime' costume creator:
I am in the picture wearing my Optimus Prime costume. I typically figure out my Halloween costume the day before Halloween. This year I wanted to take the time to make something memorable and fun. I saw a video on fb of someone transforming into Bumblebee and I thought it was awesome. So based on that video I made my Optimus Prime costume. It is made of a lot of cardboard, colored construction paper, lots of packaging tape, and some string. When I was younger I would make costumes similar to this all the time and now that I am older and busy with work all the time it is tough to do. My costume can transform to the car-form of Optimus Prime and transform into a more human-like form. I can also roll in the car-form as well. I have a knee-dolly that allows me to glide smoothly. Hope you all like me costume!
