Vincent Van Gogh Self Portrait Costume

I decided to try and emulate a painting. I gathered the blue jacket, frame, and straw hat from various thrift stores, and bought a face paint kit & orange hair spray from WalMart. I painted the jacket and hat with painterly strokes, and then spent 3 hours applying makeup - referencing pictures of the original art, and trying to bring the same color and texture to my hair and skin.
