This homemade costume for pets entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amy, the 'Chihuahua Pinata' costume creator:
My dog Chula is wearing a pinata costume. I used strips of fabric, and folded them in half before cutting slits on one side. I then cut along the middle so that the slits were on the outside and looked like fringe. The pieces were glued to a cardboard shell in a rotating pattern of colors.
