The Crazies Carrying the Dead Costume

My idea for this homemade costume my dog Looney is wearing came from my favorite movie, The Nightmare before Christmas. I wanted something different and unique, the characters in this movie are funny, but scary looking so I wanted to incorporate this in the costume. For instance the black cloth material that is covering my dog, is from an old jacket turned inside out, because it had the quilting effect, the dummy was also from an old jacket that was also used for stuffing the dummy, the beads on the coffin and on the vest are from Christmas tree décor, but I cut them to give it a lil bling, bling lol...also the lights on the coffin light up in different movements, which also used for décor in a mini Christmas tree, the coffin is a box, hat is made from hard paper, all the cloth material are left over scraps from arts and crafts. Of course the mask, hair and skeleton is from Halloween décor, lots of thread and glue gun were used to make is costume. The big surprise is that I wanted to challenge myself by only using items from home, especially around this tough times, I wanted to continue lifting up the spirit for Halloween.
