This homemade costume for pets entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Cierra, the 'Dog Poop Factory' costume creator:
My chihuahua (Kylie) is our little 2015 "Dog Poop Factory".. I got the idea after looking up homemade costume ideas (& after she left a few surprises on the floor for us).
It started with a box & paper towel rolls that I painted to have a brick look and then I printed/cut out the sign, windows, and doors. The "smoke" coming out of the top is poly-fill stuffing.
The box was too large to fit and stay in place, so I sewed a pillow to go between her and the box and glued it in place. I looped her harness through slots I cut into the pillow to stay in place on her back.
She wasn't a big fan of wearing her new factory at first, but after much trial and error to get it to stay in place, I think she got used to wearing it. :-)
