This homemade costume for pets entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tami, the 'Jack Sparrow and the Pirate Ship' costume creator:
My chihuahua Tia is wearing the pirate costume that I sewed for her, including the hat that I hand sewed. The ship I made from cardboard boxes and paper mache. Painted and used items I had for all the accesories that include paper towel rolls, matchsticks, screws, chain, rope, stickers, fabric trim, hula skirt, stencil, beads, belt buckle, pirate map, compass, and lights. The ship is on a cart that can be pushed.
