Bloody Masquerade Ghoul Costume

I am wearing the costume. I bought a Masquerade dress, Masquerade mask, Ben Nye Scar wax which was used to create the skin on the mask. I had to spread a layer of it all over the mask using plain lotion because it sticks to your skin and you can't manipulate it very well. After that I applied about 3 layers of liquid latex to seal the wax to the mask. This also helps hold the staples in place. I took some feathers and an old earring and hot glued it to the mask along with a plastic stick to hold the mask up. I painted the eye brows with a brownish Halloween paint and a flat brown eye-shadow. I went around the outer edges of the mask and eye sockets with flat black eye shadow to provide a little contour. Next take several pieces of staples (2-3 stuck together) and bend one side and hook them into the edges of the mask. Once done I used blood gel and went around the edges and eyes. After the mask is dried hold it up to your face and Trace the outline and eye holes with black eyeliner so you know where to place the latex for the out line. Place several layers of liquid latex and toilet paper strips along the outline letting each layer dry before doing the next. Once dry, start lifting the latex away from the inside area. Then color around your eye socket traces with red, people and black paint including coloring under the lifted latex. As blood gel and stage blood to your liking. The throat outline is the same as above except to make the neck bones, cut cotton beauty pads to shape, saturate in latex then stick to neck and hold in place till tacky. Lift throat outline latex once dry. Paint in same manner and apply blood as you did for the face.
