Corpse Bride Costume

This is me in the picture wearing my homemade corpse bride costume. I don't usually dress up for Halloween so decided to go all out this year. I wanted to do something scary!! With corpse bride in my head I searched the Internet for dresses but nothing I saw fitted in with the picture in my head. Eventually after checking 2nd hand stores and charity shops for old wedding dresses or white dresses of any kind. I found a little Bo peep dress. I stained the dress with tea bags and went into my garden and rubbed mud and dirt and grass all over the dress...my brothers were only too happy to help throw mud at me!!! I used a scissors to cut and then tore strips out of the dress... Ordered my wig online and painted my face white and made my eyes really black and smudged it down to look tear stained... I used green face paints to add bruises and decay to my face, on my forehead and beside my mouth... Got a black bouquet in a cheap discount shop.
