Disco Bunny Costume

I am wearing this costume. I got this off an idea from Pinterest from a model who was wearing this metal looking corset and an ornate detailed "cracked" masquerade mask. I've wanted to so this costume for two years now but I couldn't figure out the materials until it dawned on me. Shiny foil tape and cardboard!!

I started with a metallic bodysuit that had arms. I had to cut it down to make it a tube top bodysuit. I also had to sew a zipper in the back because it was too big and I needed to get in and out the costume without ruining it.

I made the shiny bodice with shiny foil tape and cardboard and instead of gluing the pieces, I did double sided sticky Velcro. For the mask I cut a bunny shaped ears and individually cut little triangles and diamonds and squares to make the mask. This took the longest. About four hours total just on the mask. I bought some gold bracelets and I was good to go!

Definitely a different spin on your basic bunny costume.
