Harley Quinn Insane Asylum Costume

It was my boyfriends idea for me to be this, he LOVES Harley Quinn lol..I bought the outfit online but I made everything else..I made my own boots out of duct tape! yes you heard me, DUCT TAPE.. I took some old boots I had laying around and bought red, purple, and black duct tape and wrapped the boots (careful when you do this, the tighter you wrap them, the more it'll be hard to get your feet in, I learned!) then you just keep adding the designs with black duct tape..when I finished wrapping the boots I tried them on but, they were not tall enough...soooo I cut off the legs to some old pair of jeans and I also wrapped those in duct tape and put those on first then slid on the boots, when they are put on together it gives the illusion of a larger boot, nice huh? ...the mask, I bought at a craft store and painted it, I wore a blonde wig which I made into high ponytails like she had, I made my own little id tag to get as close to the likeless as the character, and I even tweaked the actual costume to look more like her, I added splashes of blood on her skirt and used red duct tape in the shape of an X for the back of her costume! and I put in blue contacts (my eyes are normally hazel) to look more like her as well..overall I think it came out really nice!!
