Ice Queen Costume

This costume actually was derived from holding an outdoor solar globe light, by my fiancé. He stated to me, right before Halloween of 2012, "I think you should be an Ice Queen next year". I absolutely loved the idea, and I immediately started to design my costume, and this September began to fabricate it.
The dress is ready made with trim added to the bottom and sleeves. I made the cape and hand sewed all of the marabou trim around the hood and hem. I fabricated the crown from Christmas ice cycles that I had duct taped(yes it IS good for just about anything)to a headband and wrapped with marabou. My staff is a painted tree limb with added craft store trim, and of course, the solar globe that inspired my initial costume design.
