This homemade costume for women entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jennette, the 'Katniss Everdeen' costume creator:
This was my Katniss Everdeen costume from The Hunger Games!
The bow, believe it or not, is made out of PVC pipe! Melted with a craft blow torch, bent and glued to hold form. Then added a real bow string. It's fully functional too! 30 lbs, 60 inches long, 28 inch draw.
The jacket, pin, pants, and boots were purchased online at various places.
That's my real hair. ;)
