A word from Natasha, the 'Lady Luck' costume creator:
I am an avid poker player and decided to transpose my love of the game with a costume of a dealer. I made the table with tag board and green felt and added trim. I then glued the cards, fake money, and chips to the table and created playing spaces. I attached the table to my skirt with buttons sewn in the back and added wide strap material to prop the table up. I found the vest and tuxedo shirt at goodwill. I used Alice in wonderland knee highs as my tights. I drew card suits on a dealer hat and wrote Las Vegas on the top. I also added garters to my arms to look like dealer cuffs. I did my makeup with card suits by my eyes and red foil lashes. I added a name tag I made out of an old button. I walked around the party with a deck of cards and played people for drinks. Roughly the entire costume cost me around $150. I got a lot of material at fabric store and the clothes at the thrift shop and party city.
