Lieutenant Dan Costume

I decided to be Lieutenant Dan while watching the movie Forrest Gump. It was last minute, and I didn't want to put any money into a costume. I used items I already had- plain white tee, Dad's hawaiian shirt, old blue jeans, red bandanna, black/brown eyeliner for facial hair effect, sperry boat shoes, and a wheelchair. To make it look like I had no legs, I cut holes in the back of my jeans below the knee. I slipped my legs through the holes and then trimmed the front of my jeans up to my knee and secured with a tie. Next, I sat on my legs in my wheelchair! People really thought I had no legs! And everyone knew who I was, I didn't have to tell them.
