Lucky Charms Costume

I LOVE this costume because I spent 0$ on it! My 23 year old daughter asked if I would make it and brought the box home from her work. I used spray paint, stenciling, fake gold coins, construction paper, glitter, a pair of rainbow suspenders, green sequined over size bow-tie and my daughter proved the derby. What I love about DIY costumes is getting an idea and making it work with what I already have and visiting thrift stores and the $ store for cheap additives. So this one is my all time fave being completely free! The time I spent making it was a reward like all the costumes we make. After the party which was a week before Halloween, my daughter gave the costume to a 12 year old girl, daughter of a friend of mine. The kid LOVED it!
