Madame Butterfly Costume

I'm wearing an original costume that I created from spare parts I had in my basement. The wings are made of lightweight fabric, wooden dowels, pvc pipes, pool cues, and foil tape. The lights are battery powered Christmas lights and several strands of EL wire that I soldered myself. The batteries and wires are housed in a backpack that also holds the base for the main wing masts. I also handmade the dress and sewed on all the sequins and crystals by hand.
