Pinata Costumes

My roommate Christina and I decided to be pinatas because we wanted to do something fun, sexy and creative! We carried pinata bats around all night "hitting" each other, while throwing candy! We started with stretchy crop tops and skirts. We cut hundreds of squares of streamers, fringing each streamer square then hot gluing the squares in layers to the crop top and skirt. Several hot glue gun burns and several hours later, we had a complete pinata costume. To compliment the outfit, we created a bracelet out of wristbands and streamers and added party hats. The costume was an absolute hit and somehow made it through the entire night of dancing, too!
