Poison Ivy Costume

My homemade Poison Ivy Costume was inspired by my favorite color Green and my subpar financial situation this year lol. I spent a total of about $20 to make and put everything together. I got an XL men's, olive green t-shirt, cut off the sleeves and collar and sewed the sides to make a fitted dress. I bought ivy leaves in $0.96 bundles at Walmart and hot glued the large leaves to the t-shirt to cover it. I strung together the smaller leaves with black yawn to tie around my shoes and arms. I bought $2 red braiding weave to wrap around my hair and make larger buns and colored the rest of my hair red with $2 Halloween hair color. I placed extra smaller leaves in my hair with bobby pins. For make up I used lots of green eyeshadow and green glitter with red lipstick. This is my first homemade costume and I received so many compliments!
