Queen of Hearts Costume

I am wearing the costume. I wanted to do something pretty yet evil at the same time as usual. I was 38 weeks pregnant so my options were limited. I noticed that the Queen of Hearts is usually depicted with an empire waist and full skirt which worked out perfect for me. I made everything but the top. I had started out attempting that and things went south so I scrapped it. I got a long sleeved black shirt and used it with the dress. I made it using no pattern and my own concepts. I added a wand, playing cards to the bottom of the dress, and I glued together playing cards to make a fan. Pretty cool costume in the end.
