A word from Beulah, the 'Rapunzel' costume creator:
I am the one wearing the costume! I used two long purple dresses and two pink shirts from Goodwill to make the dress. I created the sleeves and corset up the front. I also used fabric paint to create the patterns on the bottom of the skirt. The wig is made out of yarn. I crocheted a hat and added panels to make it look like a part. I crocheted three long tubes and braided them together, along with smaller braids twisted in between. I then threaded up a couple strands of battery powered LED lights. The battery packs of these lights are hidden in the fringe at the bottom of the braid. I finished it off by hot gluing fake flowers all over the wig! The dress took three days and the wig took about a month. Hope you like it :)
