Roari Costume

This is me wearing the costume, I made this with crafter's foam, white faux fur, red corded rope and tassels, turquiose, yellow, and white vynal, back pack straps and buckles. Everything was hand sewn because I needed very specific shapes to make the armor. All the armor is segmented and layered, individually sewn pieces.

The straps and buckles were used to connect with the other parts of the armor, this way I didn't have to constantly adjust the parts. The gloves are old leather gloves, all hand sewn parts, the claws are made of pure resin. the entire costume took me 2 and a half months.

The weapon was made in 5 days, made of crafter's foam, paint, foam camp pad, mop handle, plastic sticks in the spikes. All pieces were individually hot glued down

The idea came from the game Monster Hunter, the armor called Zinogre armor, the weapon is called dark claw.
