Scarecrow Costume

I am wearing the costume that I made out of a old men's suit which I got for free. I started to tear it up to make room for raffia, birds, mice and some material which I purchased at Lens Mill store. Then hot glued all the pieces to the suit sporadically.

I went to the pet store to get authentic looking mice and hot glued it to the suit and hat. I wore long red socks to cover my legs and stuff my red checkered shirt with straw and raffia to make me look full.

I bought my corn at the $ store and my boat shoes were a old pair of shoes I had that I applied straw to. The hat was a $ store purchase, but I ripped it apart so I would only have the inner layer to the hat and decorated it.

I applied make up to my face to make me look like a scarecrow. I previously had the make up already. :) Total cost for this costume was $9.00.
