The Enchantress Costume

My costume is based off the final battle outfit that The Enchantress wears in Suicide Squad. I took a regular bra, reshaped it with interfacing, and covered it with knit black fabric. I used interface and knit black fabrics to shape the skirt as well. I made 300 tiny pleather squares, which I hemmed with E6000, painted with green and black acrylic, then covered in mod podge, and used those for the top, skirt, and arm bands. I hand stitched every corner wear the pleather squares met with gold thread. The arm band are made from wire and craft foam bases and secured with prosthetic adhesive. The head piece was made from a foam base that I cut and shaped and then covered with interfacing. I painted it with green,gold, and black acrylics, fabric paint, and puffy paint for detailing. I used doll eyes and craft foam to make the eye details. The crescent moon was made from foam, then spray painted gold and secured with a headband. I used an ikea LED light for the center piece. The body paint is done with eyeliner and sealed with hairspray and baby powder. I made and wore the costume myself.
