This homemade costume for women entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Monica, the 'Victorian Lady' costume creator:
I dressed up this year as a Victorian Lady in full historical grandeur! The gathered belted skirt was hand sewn by me using cream suede, black taffeta and cream tull. The shirt, cameo brooch, parasol, petticoat, knit leggings and button boots were all purchased. The costume cost 200 dollars to construct.
