This homemade costume for girls entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jacqueline, the 'Cruella Deville' costume creator:
My daughter loves the movie 101 Dalmatians. She decided she wanted to dress up as Cruella Deville because no one else was going to be her. We ordered a black and white wig offline and teased it up to look crazy like Cruella's hair. We bought white fury material from a fabric store and fabric paint. We both painted spots all over the material. We then cut holes in the material for her arms to be in like a jacket. The dress she has is just a plain black dress with a little Dalmatian sewn on the bottom. We then found red boots at Wal-Mart that worked perfect! Along with that we ordered a cigarette holder (we didn't encourage smoking but Cruella has it in the movie) off amazon. Last but not least we found a Dalmatian dog at a garage sale to carry around. We just put eye liner on her face for eye brows, black eye make up, and red lip stick. She loved it and was proud of our hard work!
