Cute Little Mouse-Dog Costume

CocoPuff is a cute little mouse caught in a trap. The mousetrap was made by cutting a scrap piece of plywood to fit on top of a wagon. It is roughly 20" wide by 40" long with a hole cut out in the middle of one half of the board. I used a yardstick, masking tape and sharpie markers to create the black border, lettering and mouse trap logo. Then I put weatherstripping around the hole to make it more comfortable and secured it with a staple gun even though it was already sticky. I cut a block of wood to resemble a cheese wedge,sanded it a bit and colored it with yellow sharpie and orange alcohol markers. A single nail from the underside holds it in place. The rest of the trap is made with 1/2" PVC pipe and elbows, and an old piece of flexible gas line pipe that I had lying around, to resemble a spring. It was cut to the same size as the the shorter corresponding pvc pipe. Galvanized tube straps (1/2 ") hold the pipe to the board, The board is held to the wagon with thin wire, but wood blocks could me nailed to the underside of the board to keep it from sliding. The PVC pipe was only a few dollars as were the tube straps. The hardest part was cutting all the pieces. We used a hole saw, a PVC cutter and a Sawzall(for the gas pipe).
